On the wall
A whole town at kid height
Hang the board and kids can stand right in front of it, moving cars down the roads and people from home to the store and back.
On the floor
Or lay it flat as a play mat
Put it on the table or rug and it becomes a city map for felt pieces — or for your child's own toy cars.
How it's made
Soft flannel, stick-on pieces, a bag for cleanup
The flannel board has hanging holes, every felt piece has a hook-and-loop back so it stays put, and a storage bag holds them all.
Play together
Room for everyone around the map
The big board fits a parent and a couple of kids at once — take turns being the bus driver, the shopkeeper or the firefighter.
Perfect for
- Kids 3 and up who love vehicles and people at work
- Pretend play and storytelling at home or in a classroom
- Families short on floor space who can hang it on the wall
- Siblings who like to play side by side
Not the right pick if
- Children under 3 — small parts are a choking hazard
- Machine washing — spot clean with a damp cloth
- Kids wanting a toy with lights, sounds or batteries
